Rance IX - The Helmanian Revolution

Once the most powerful and expansive nation on the continent, the Helman Empire is now a shadow of its former glory. With a military history stretching further back than any other, it has been brought to ruin by years of corrupt governance. Amidst the decay—and with whispers of civil unrest and potential invasions from neighboring nations growing louder by the day—a once-exiled man has risen to the challenge. The crown prince, Patton Misnarge, who vanished years ago after a failed invasion meant to prove his worth, has returned. Now hardened by rigorous training, he is determined to reclaim his homeland. His audacious plan? To rally the peerless fighters he met during his travels and lead a small but elite force to revolutionize Helman. To perfect this daring strategy, Patton turns to an unlikely ally: Rance, the most formidable—and brutal—warrior of them all.
