The father of Wakana, Haruta and Saya. Unfaithful husband with many mistresses, more absent than present and very strict. Because of complicated family machinations, Haruta and Saya didn't know that they were bound by the blood, having no mother to prove them the opposite. Having felt a change of relationship between the siblings, he emancipates his son himself by giving him the family name of his mother and kicking him out of their home. He is behind the merger project of Souto High School and Houjou High School ever since the sudden death of Souto High School's principal. He had an affair with his own sister of which he was "in love" and the twins are the fruits of their love. Having feared the social repercussions, they did not live together and the twins were separated, Haruta going to Indonesia with his mother and Saya staying in Japan with her father, her "mother" and her half-sister.
