神界と魔界、そして人間界を繋ぐ扉。 その門が開き、少年の家の隣に『神』と『魔王』の家族がやってくる。 とある遺跡で発見され、開いてしまった二つの扉。 その先には神族の住む神界、魔族の住む魔界があった。三つの世界は繋がり、そして人間界に大きな変化をもたらすことに・・・。 物語の舞台は、とある国のとある街。平和に暮らしていたある少年の家の隣に、二つの家族が引っ越してきたことから始まる。その家族こそ、神界の王『神』と、魔界の王『魔王』の家族。どちらも一人娘の願いを受けて、少女達が幼い頃より恋慕してきた、少年の家の隣へと引っ越してきたのだった。 幼い頃、わずかな時間での一人の少年との遭遇。けれど少女達はその時の想いを忘れることなく、その胸にずっと抱き続けていた。少年と同居している幼馴染や、その他多くのものを捲きこんでの波瀾と絶望と、ちょっぴりの希望に満ちた生活が、今始まる。

家族としてプリムラを再び芙蓉家に。 そう考えた魔王と神族は、稟と楓、二人の前でプリムラの感情抑制に対する検査を行う。だがその途中、予想を遥かに上回るプリムラの魔力を覚えたての感覚制御が暴走させ、楓の精神に影響をもたらしてしまう。 バラバラに組み替えられてしまった楓の中にある様々な思い出。その結果、芙蓉楓という存在が狂い、楓はいつ目覚めるかも分からない眠りに落ちてしまった。 楓の記憶を元に戻し、楓を目覚めさせるため、稟は友人達と共に楓の精神世界へと潜り込む。 そこには二人の確かな過去があった。

大都市「柳木原」（やなぎはら 略称ギバラ）では、今日も誰かのありふれた物語が生まれていた。季節は冬。寒さが厳しい白い空。心に悩みを持つ若者たちが繰り広げる群衆劇。そんな若者たちが傷つき、笑いあう。どこにでもあるような恋物語が今語られる。
