The story is about Matsui Yuusuke, an elite corporate employee who neglects his family due to his intense focus on work. One day, he encounters Manabe Kanon, who sees a striking resemblance between Yuusuke and her deceased father. Yuusuke, feeling distant from his wife and Kanon, struggling with her father's loss, decide to live together to ease their loneliness. They hope to share warm and peaceful moments akin to a real parent-child relationship, but their lives take a turn.
