——On a humid day in June, the air thick with the promise of the rainy season. It all started when she asked that girl to help her study for an upcoming exam. Her gentle smile reminded her, just a little, of her late mother—— As summer break approaches, Nozomi Aikawa, a high school freshman, asks her neighbor and classmate, Satsuki Shinozuka, to help her study for her final exams.
