The settings page is opened from Settings in the sidebar and is divided into five sections: Profile, Security, Connected accounts, Downloads and Preferences.

Profile

Changing your user name

Change it in the user name field on the Profile page, up to 20 characters. While you type, the page tells you whether the user name is available. Click Save after changing it.

Changing your avatar, banner and bio

Your avatar, banner, bio and page background are changed on your profile. Open your profile and click Edit profile; after you choose a picture, a crop tool appears, and once the cropping is done, click Save to apply the change.

Security

Changing your password

On the Security page, click Change in the password row and enter your current password and a new password. Requirements for the new password:

  • At least 8 characters
  • Contains an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, and a digit or symbol

After a successful change, you are signed out on your other devices and need to sign in again there. If you have forgotten your current password, click Forgot password? in the sign-in dialog and reset your password through the link in the email.

Changing your email

Changing your email requires verifying both your current email and the new one:

  1. Send a verification code to your current email and enter it
  2. Enter the new email address, send a verification code to the new email and enter it, then confirm the change

Passkeys

A passkey is a way to sign in without a password, using your device's biometrics (fingerprint, facial recognition) or device password for verification.

Adding a passkey:

  1. Click Add a passkey and optionally enter a name (up to 128 characters) to make it easy to identify
  2. Your browser shows a verification request; follow the prompts to complete the verification
  3. After successful verification, the passkey is saved automatically and appears in the list

Managing existing passkeys:

Each passkey in the list shows its name, the time it was added and the time it was last used. Click the delete button to remove a passkey; the removal takes effect after you confirm it.

If your browser or device does not support WebAuthn, this feature will not be available.

Connected accounts

Manage the links between your account and other services:

  • Hikarinagi ID — once linked, you can sign in with your Hikarinagi ID. While it is your only way to sign in, it cannot be unlinked; set a password or add a passkey first.
  • PotatoVN — links your PotatoVN account. The password you enter is only used to request an access credential from PotatoVN and is not stored on this site; removing the link deletes none of your data on PotatoVN.

Downloads

Choose the default download method and configure the targets of push downloads.

Under Game managers, LunaBox, ReinaManager and PotatoVN can each be switched on or off; once switched on, they appear in the download menu.

The aria2 part is for configuring the aria2 download client, so that game resources can be pushed to an aria2 running on this computer or on your local network:

FieldDescription
RPC addressThe JSON-RPC address of aria2, such as http://127.0.0.1:6800/jsonrpc
RPC secretThe RPC secret of aria2 (if one is set)
Save toLeave empty to use aria2's default directory

Before use, RPC must be enabled in aria2 and cross-origin requests from this site must be allowed. After filling in the fields, you can click Test connection to verify that the configuration is correct.

Download settings are saved in your local browser only and are not synced to your account.

Preferences

Language

Choose the interface language (简体中文, English, 日本語). The page switches to the chosen language immediately, and the emails sent to you also use this language.

Theme

Choose Light, Dark or System. This setting is saved in your local browser only.

Adult content

Controls how games and images with adult content are shown. There are three options:

  • Hide — games and images with adult content are not shown
  • Mask — games are shown; images are covered by default and can be viewed after you click them
  • Show — everything is shown directly

Changes take effect immediately. When you are not signed in, games and images with adult content are not shown.

Other

  • Only games with resources — the default for the game library and search; it can be changed temporarily on each visit
  • Show the page backgrounds of other users — when off, the profiles of other users use the default background of the site
