ILLUSION was an eroge brand well known for their use of 3D graphics and the Rapelay controversy that had lasting consequences on the industry.

The brand ceased activity on 18th August 2023. While the brand said there was not going to be a successor, a brand named ILLGAMES that was created shortly after is very obviously its direct successor. It is speculated that there was a need to ditch ILLUSION and sever any link with the brand while pursuing the exact same activity.

Some members of ILLUSION founded ILLUMINATION, a company specializing in VR games.
